I Love To Scrapbook!

Well, I do...now! Last night, I put together a 20-page scrapbook, using a scrapmap from Stampin' Up and I gotta say, That's AWESOME! I used the soon-to-be-"Last Chance" Tailor-Made Scrappin' Kit and the coordinating 12x12" textured card stock. It's very "tailored". HA! I made a pun! Heehee!! Now, notice I did NOT say I've put any pictures on those pages yet - hey! One step at a time, right? That will come later and believe me, after living 56 plus years, I've got plenty of pictures to post to those tailored pages! Oh, well. They are put together and now, I'm going to offer a Scrapbook-In-A-Day class at the end of July. Once the new catalog is out and EVERYONE can see all the gorgeous, beautiful papers and kits, I'll have all the logistics for the class available and fliers out for the class. Can't Wait for That One!!

I've also been working on crafts for our church's Daily Vacation Bible School to be held in a few weeks. One is a little scrapbook made entirely from card stock. All the stock has been cut and I've embossed the front piece with the dots texturz plate using my brand-new Big Shot. (How did I ever get along without that big boy!!) The kids will punch out the holes for the brads or ribbons and put their pictures on the insides. We're taking their pictures the first night so they can have them for their books.

Unfortunately, I don't have pictures to show you - I'm off to the Mansion today for my "tour of duty" - I'm a volunteer at the Mansion once a week. I have a lot of fun with that task! So, I'll take pictures of the scrapbook for the kids that I put together as an example and post it later tonight.

Hope you all have a wonderfully quiet day - it's raining here in West Virginia.

I'll leave you with a tip of the day:
A Winner isn't the one who "wins", it's the one who gets up again when she's been knocked down for the third or tenth or hundredth time! I think all of you are winners in my book!

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. I scrapped some this week too. I'm finished with 2008 now. But, 2009 is half over almost... gotta get busy on those pics, too... Thankfully we haven't taken as many this year. HA!
